Join the Friends of Burma
If you think you can help us on a regular basis, you are warmly invited to join the Friends of Burma - the group of volunteers and supporters of Burma Center Prague.

As volunteer you will be contacted whenever we need someone to lend us a hand. Depending on your time, interest and capacities, you can also consider to get involved in any other way - think of opening a local Burma-group at a university or school, or you might prefer to contribute with your professional experience and contacts.
As volunteer in the Friends of Burma you will gain from our professional experience and from our positioning as registered and well-acknowledged Czech organization amidst an international network. You will get first-hand experience with Burmese in exile and refugees living among us. We will show you ways how to contribute your personal strength to proceed on our way.

If you prefer to give financial support instead of volunteering, you're welcome to join the Friends of Burma as supporter. As beneficial non-profit and non-governmental organization, registered and operated under Czech laws, the Burma Center Prague is controlled by a Supervisory Board. The personal dedication of it's members ensures that Burma Center Prague doesn't work only upon the availability of grants. Your support will enable us to continue and extend successful work.
Being volunteer or supporter in the Friends of Burma is a particular good opportunity for everyone who wishes to help the people of Burma behind the scene. As a Friend of Burma you will be part of a strong and reliable team, knowing that your help can really make a difference!
