+++ "TOTAL DENIAL" +++ VÁCLAV HAVEL SPECIAL AWARD FOR HUMAN RIGHTS +++ 2006 +++

On 28 October 2006, Burma Center Prague presented the Burmese Evening at the International Documentary Film Festival "One World 2006" in Bratislava, Slovakia, in cooperation with the hosting Slovak organization People in Peril. After the screening of the movie Total Denial we opened the discussion with a co-founder of the Forum of Burmese in Europe (FBE) who offered up-to-date information about the issues mentioned in the film. We are happy to announce that more than 150 visitors not only watched the film, but also stay for one more hour to participate in a lively discussion! Further highlights were the photo-exhibition (in cooperation with Austrian Burma Center) and the buffet of original Burmese dishes.
